EICR & landlord electrical reports in Stoke-on-Trent & Staffordshire
Understand the condition of your fixed electrical installation with inspection, testing and a report that explains the findings.

What an EICR covers
An Electrical Installation Condition Report records an assessment of the fixed electrical installation. It can include distribution equipment, wiring and accessories within the agreed scope. It is different from an installation certificate for new work and from testing portable appliances.
Arrange access and isolation
Testing generally requires access to the distribution board, outlets and relevant parts of the property. Some checks involve switching off circuits. Tell us about occupied rooms, business operations and equipment that needs special arrangements before isolation.
Act on the findings
The report records observations and whether the installation is satisfactory for continued use. C1, C2 or FI findings require appropriate action; C3 is an improvement recommendation. We explain the findings and can discuss separately quoted remedial work. Inspection duties and timing depend on the property, tenancy, jurisdiction and any earlier report. For rented homes in England, use the current government guidance rather than treating one interval as a rule for every building.

How do I request a quotation?
Use the enquiry form or call 07745 849126. Include your location, the type of property, the work required and any timing constraints. We will discuss whether a site visit or further information is needed.
Can I get a fixed price from a photograph?
A photograph helps us understand the work, but it cannot show the condition or capacity of the entire installation. We may need a site visit or additional details before giving an accurate quotation.
Will I receive electrical documentation?
The records depend on the work. New installations and alterations require appropriate inspection, testing and documentation; an EICR reports on the condition of an existing installation. Ask which certificate, report or notification applies to your quotation and keep the handover documents with your property records.
